Nasturtiums, Violas and Tomatoes Oh My!

Lovely Tomatoes From My Garden

If you are a gardener you are aware that this is Mad Dash time!  We have put some kale and peas in.  We also need to put some potatoes, radishes, and carrots in tomorrow.  I planted some nasturtiums and violas to sell at our local greenhouse sale too and they are doing fantastic.  I really am looking forward to experimenting with and trying recipes with edible flowers soon!  My husband also has some heirloom tomatoe plants that are germinating and some that he has planted…..Have you been out in your garden yet?  More to come on this topic….

  1. Oh, I am itching to get out in the garden! Alas, I have another 4-5 weeks before I can start things indoors yet. 🙁
However, I have been very much enjoying the seeds catalogs, and have just about planned out all that I want to grow. Not much for flowers-a few poppies, and marigolds, perhaps some pansies-but the vegetable garden is getting tomatoes, purple bush beans, cabbages, brussel sprouts, carrots, pumpkins, beets, and some zucchini.

First, I need the snow to go away…
