The Suburban Off-Grid Cooking Series No. 3 – Sun Oven Roasted Apples with Cardamom, Ginger & Nutmeg

lil suburban homestead off grid series cooking no. 3

Hope everyone has been having a beautiful holiday season! I am so excited to share our recipe for Sun Oven Roasted Apples with Cardamon, Ginger, and Nutmeg it is so delicious as part 3 of our Suburban Off-Grid Cooking Series and believe it or not I have one more post this week that will conclude our Sun Oven cooking and next we will be cooking on our DIY Rocket Stove! I can’t wait!

This is a perfect recipe for the holidays and would be wonderful to grace any table and the spices make it taste extra special!

[yumprint-recipe id=’6′]There are only a few more days to get in on the Christmas Combo Special at All American Sun Oven! This coupon code will give you $80.00 off of your very own sun oven! It is so easy to use, I just carry the Sun Oven out to the yard place it in the sun and pop whatever I need to cook up for the day in the sun oven! If you did not get one for Christmas it may be time to just get one yourself!

It is remarkable to me how hot the sun oven gets so quickly! I am always careful when I open the sun oven door that I do not get burnt from the steam so I keep my face back from the door when I open it and have had no issues. The smell of the apples is amazing! The roasted apples only take about an hour to cook up or so!

I hope you all enjoy this recipe as much as we did!

Have a great weekend!

Fondly,

karen lynn
