Celebrating Easter

he is risen
He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; And whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25,26—NIV)

We all come from a variety of beliefs in this world in my case I am a Christian and for me this is a day to pause, reflect and celebrate one of the most historic events in history which is Christ  dying on the cross for us and rising up again from the dead to save us from our sins.  He took this on for us because he knew we could not do it  ourselves and what a gift and one that I cherish dearly.  We went to a beautiful church service yesterday and I heard the story of “The Prodigal Son” in an entirely new way than I have ever heard it before and I have heard it a lot over the years.  Sometimes it takes that special person to find their way with the message that will finally make your heart open up and listen.

Easter is also a time for new beginnings so the timing of it goes perfect with seedlings erupting from the earth at this time of year.  So I will be getting out in the back yard today to start some more seeds and as I play in the earth today and spend time with family I will be thankful for all of my blessings.

I wish all of you a beautiful Easter and wonderful time spent with family and friends.

Fondly,

    1. Thank you so much Charlotte! I hope you and your family had a wonderful time together! Sounds like your service at church was beautiful too! Thank you so much for your kind comment!

  2. My husband just came in with the mail! The seeds are here and I am so thankful that I won them. How much fun is this going to be and try to keep the deer from eating them! Maybe if we keep feeding the the deer corn and buy some garden netting I will have something to put away.

Thank you again and may your family be Blessed for all the sharing you do.

    Charlotte
