The Ole’ Saturday Homesteading Trading Post Ed. No. 39

It’s Friday evening everyone and time for the Ole’ Saturday Homesteading Trading Post but this Friday to encourage folks to join in and connect this week we are having a very special “Candy Roaster Pumpkin Seed”  Plus Root Vegetable Seed Assortment giveaway.  Yes we are giving away FREE seeds!  Who Doesn’t Like Free?  Here are the ways you can sign up for this giveaway!  This giveaway will be managed by Rafflecopter and will be randomly selected by Rafflecopter.

We will be giving away the following seeds:

12 Candy Roaster Pumpkin Seeds

12 Colossal Long Red Mangels (Beets)

30 Carrot – Sweet Salad Hybrid

25 –Giant Sugar Beets

40 – Danvers Carrots

Note I would say we garden with about 70% heirloom seeds we still do use some hybrids because some of our hybrids are our best producers but I agree with Jackie Clay you need to do your research and plan wisely but don’t not use hybrids at all. Here is an article about this by Jackie Clay my Backwoods Home go to Lady who I have been following for years if you would like more information.
